Bob Boyer

Bob Boyer

Bob Boyer was born in Prince Albert Saskatchewan in 1948. He died in 2004 when he was pow wow dancing. When we went to the art gallery I expected to see just paintings, but we saw a bunch of artwork. We also got to draw stuff with oil pastels. Some of his paintings were: A Seven Arrow Storm, Self-Portrait as Twins, and Scene/Seen at St. Victors.

Copy and paste poem: Killing a TV

My television is junk.
I'll punch and kick the TV, and throw cheese at it, or paint it green.
I'll make it rust outside cook it in a fire, and the TV is dead!

Regina Youth Ballet Review

Regina Youth Ballet Review
Stars: 4

This was the first ballet I went to. The choreography was really good, and I liked the props and costumes. It was also cool when she moved her hand and we had to stand and sit and sway. I really liked that last dance because they had some props and that was really cool. I expected to see just dancing, but it was much better than that.

Mona Lisa and Dr. Carver

One night Mona Lisa got her newspaper and it said something about an art class. She wanted to teach people about art and sculptures. So she went to go to her job. On her first day, she learned to make sculptures, and she met a man named Dr. Carver, and he told Mona Lisa how to make good sculptures. So she was teaching art and she was explaining stuff about ancient sculptures, and how they made them. The next day she showed everyone how to make a sculpture. She made a good sculpture and showed it to Dr. Carver. He said “That is a good sculpture.” So she practiced at home and she was getting better and better. So in art class she made a really good sculpture and showed it to Dr. Carver and he said, “Whoa! That is an excellent sculpture! I couldn’t do that good!” “Thanks,” said Mona Lisa. Dr. Carver practiced at home but still he couldn’t make a sculpture as good as Mona Lisa. This made him very angry. So in art class Mona Lisa was teaching about paintings until Dr. Carver came into her art class. He yelled “Mona Lisa! How did you make such a good sculpture?!” I practiced,” she said. “Well I practiced, but I didn’t make a good sculpture, now tell me!” “I just practiced!” said Mona Lisa. “If you don’t tell me I will lock you in the cellar forever!” Dr. Carver yelled. One of Mona Lisa’s students ran to the nearby police station and got the cops. Dr. Carver was taking Mona Lisa to the cellar when the cops came. “Dr. Carver you will go to jail for 35 years” said one of the cops. So he was arrested. Later, Mona Lisa’s students made sculptures out of rocks. The end.
